Due to the rare and insane amounts of snow Paris has been getting, the small children’s wednesday activities were cancelled. (No “circus” aka gymnastics, no judo, no fencing, and definitely no “pony” aka horseback riding).

Somehow we got on the topic of snowmen or “bon homme de neige”-good man of snow, as they like to call them here in France and the children let me in on the fact that they have NEVER built a snow man! Vraiment?? JAMAIS?! NEVER!?

So, this is how we spent our wednesday afternoon. Building our first “bon fil de neige”…”good child of snow,” because there wasn’t enough snow for a full man. Thomas donned him Herbert. They checked on him every 10 minutes to make sure he wasn’t melted…
